Farmers Field expecting 30,000 Jobs in US

Please Join :
We’re working to build a state-of-the-art sports stadium, entertainment, and premier convention center in downtown L.A. by 2015. The Farmers Field project will create jobs for our community, boost our economy, and finally bring NFL football back to our city.

It’s jobs. It’s a long-term boost to our economy. It’s a state-of-the-art facility in downtown L.A. Building Farmers Field and expanding the convention center is good for Los Angeles no matter how you look at it. Here are the facts.

Who Is Involved
Developer: AEG
Project Manger: ICON Venue Group, LLC
Design Firm: Gensler

Stadium Specs
Seats: 68,000, expandable to 78,000 for special events like the Super Bowl or NCAA Final Four
Location: Downtown Los Angeles at the current West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, alongside the STAPLES Center and L.A. Live.

Size: Total new Event Center would be 1,700,000 gross sq. ft. with a retractable roof.

Funding: $1 billion investment for the development of Farmers Field, all privately funded (this means no debt for the City of Los Angeles).

Parking: 32,000 parking spaces within a 15-minute walk to Farmers Field are already in operation.

Traffic: To limit congestion, Farmers Field will utilize four freeways and over 20 interchanges (on/off ramps), and continue to use the successful traffic and parking model employed by STAPLES Center, L.A. LIVE, and the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Our Vision for the Stadium and Convention Center
  1. Attract the most iconic events
  2. Biggest and best domestic and internal conventions that attract thousands of visiting attendees annually.
  3. Sporting and entertainment event that showcase the best athletes and stars.
  4. Finally bringing the best game in America — professional football — back to L.A.
  5. Redefine the LACC product to attract the biggest and best conventions
  6. Contiguous hall space is critical to the success of exhibits and tradeshows. This is our chance as a City to fix the LACC once and for all.
  7. Increased square footage
  8. Retain existing business
Immediate Impact
When completed, Farmers Field and the expanded convention center will immediately position downtown L.A. as one of the nation’s premier destinations for sports, entertainment, and conventions.

Farmers Field allows Los Angeles to finally compete for many of the top 50 conventions the current Los Angeles Convention Center is too small to host. The dramatically improved event space will attract an estimated 80 annual event days and increase economic activity in the downtown core.

It really an "HOT NEWS" when google's new product which is an answer to facebook monopoly of social networking. But yesterday when "Experian Hitwise" one of the major market researcher release the news that the average time spend on Google + is 3% less than the previous week. As per the social networking standard , the percentage of the new visit should always be in the increasing path. Google+ had 1.79 million visits for the week ending July 23 where it had had 1.86 million visits in the previous week , They also said the average time on the site per user is also decreased.

As per the understanding , this is not a mojor issue as the number of people registered in Google plus is approximate 20 million in the first 3 weeks of it release , and this count is the largest count in the history of the internet industry. Google also informed that more than 1 billion items are shared each day, which includes post , photos, videos etc..

Windows 8 - Microsoft's Steven Sinofsky talks from D9

Windows 8 may released by April 2012
The first thing on the Windows 8 is the personalized START Screen , and it looks like different Apps , like icons. This is purely a touch screen based. What I feel on the first look , its an another ANDROID . Even though I dont have a real time experience in Windows 8, its looks a great similarity on Android. You have apps for weather , stock, NEWS. You can just slide , just like a normal touch screen photo to have the next page.
