What is IBM’s Mobile Security Service

ibm As IBM was not able to get into the smart phones , they came up with a security feature for smartphones, which they called as Hosted Mobile Device Security Management service. They are targetting for smartphone as well as tablet. As per IBM , they are targetting the business users who use the smart phone. This Mobile Device Security Management service helps organizations to protect against and monitor data loss and other risks caused by device theft, unauthorized access, malware, spyware, and inappropriate apps. This will work with Apple iOS, Google Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Microsoft Windows Mobile which uses . When I logged in my office PC , I have a software called Pointsec installed, the main use of pointsec is to keep the PC as secured as possible, but the funny thing is that after installation of that, the booting time is increase by 40% and worst senerio is the system performance got down like anything. I hope this kind of issue wont happen to the IBM’s new security system.

Beware of using smartphone App for Banking and others

A software deveploper named Trevor Eckhart  has found and hidden application in smartphone which records each and evey action that is happening in the phone .Eckhart has uploaded an 17-minute video on YouTube that shows the same. The app which he shows is called as HTC IQ Agent on the EVO 3D and most important is it’s impossible to stop the application from running in the app settings on HTC Android devices. Each functions that you are doing ,sending sms,or dialing phone number etc are recorded in this .The developer has been in a legal battle with Carrier IQ for some time now. Eckhart started making waves across the privacy community earlier this month after he dug into software developed by Carrier IQ .

Carrier IQ took offense to Eckhart's claim, saying that its software is a "diagnostic tool" for companies to "improve the quality of the network, understand device issues, and ultimately improve the user experience." . Carrier IQ also took the opportunity to clarify what its software doesn't do, including record keystrokes, provide tracking tools, or inspect "the content of e-mails and SMSs." The company also argued that its software does not "provide real-time data reporting to any customer." Although Eckhart's data comes from Android devices, it's worth noting that Carrier IQ's software is running on over 130 million mobile devices worldwide, including those made by Nokia and Research In Motion.

"The Carrier IQ application is embedded so deeply in the device that it can't be fully removed without rebuilding the phone from source code."

HP back to tablet buiness: HP Slate 2

HP team realised that it was a bad suggestion to quit from the PC business, so last week they decided to come back in the table world. So what is the new thing about. Yes a tablet. So what are the new feature of it.
Is it an Android based ? No its not , its a Windows 7-based Slate 2.
8.9-inch capacitive multi-touch screen,
Intel Atom Z670 CPU,
32 GB of momory,
3-megapixel back camera,

A front-facing VGA camera for video chats and calls.Yes it has HP’s Swype technology for easier text entry.
So what I feel that , they have to think twice about the OS as Windows 7 was never a great OS for tablets and they too accepted that . So hope they may target for Windows 8 for tablet release, which is expected for next year release.
What is the price of this ? HP Slate 2 starts at $699 and is expected to be available later this month. Are they assuming that they can stay with Apple iPad or Samsungs Tab family ?

iPhone 4S Battery issue resolved.

Many of the iPhone users are facing issue with there battery as its not staying longer after the installation of iOS5.Apple got a couple of complaints from majority of its users. So here is the issue , iPhone has the capability of updating the time automatically by checking the zone. iOS 5 that keeps the phone pinging various location servers to update the time zone. For the it constant pinging and that drains the battery. The best way to make that is the OFF that setting,  turning off the “Setting Time Zone”. So that issue is resolved.

Go inside a shop online with Google maps.

You want to know, how your evening party halls looks like? Now you can do that from your home it self. Now Google maps allows  you to have a glimpses of whats there in a shop or a restaurant. This test program was started last year . There will be a bunch of panoramic images which the customers have a real feeling of inside or shop or restaurant or a party hall. The 360 degree views are really superb. I really wonder , why cant they try with a 3D. As of now , they allow only the Googles  Street View photographers to have the pictures. So they are in demand. Small businesses in several countries like Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States started inviting the team of Google Street View photographers ( they use  fish-eye and wide-angle lenses)  to have the Small businesses involved in this. If small business owners are really using this , then they can increase there online business more that 30%, or any one can have a shop inside there home , and make the consumers feel that this is better than the other. Google has promised it will blur out or refuse to publish any images that include bystanders. The photo shoots produce 360-degree images using fish-eye and wide-angle lenses as well as stills. Business owners still can to upload their own pictures.

Generating electricity from road traffic

The concept of generating electricity from road was an innovative idea from Israeli company Innowattech , in association with Technion University. The plan is to implement the system on the nation's highways. As usual , the electricty is produced by a generator, which needs inplant in road. The energy is produced when vehicle drives over them. Each generator can generate approximate 2000 walts of power and will be stored in battery .They claim that a 1km stretch of the power-generating asphalt will generate 400kW - enough power to run eight small cars. This works by embedding tiny piezoelectric crystals into the road. They claim that if the system was installed on every stretch of British motorway it would generate enough energy to run 34,500 small cars.

Edri-Azoulay,the manager of the project stated that installing the program on a single traffic lane stretching one kilometer would produce 200 kilowatts of electricity hour and a four lane highway with the system implemented would produce a megowatt of electricity, enough to power 2,500 households. The similar kind of innovation was done by Californian local. The system would not be dependant on weather and does not require the construction of large-scale infrastructure. The kinetic energy of a truck barreling down a highway to compress tanks of hydraulic fluid located in plates on the road surface. This creates a pumping action that can turn a generator and produce electricity.

Lumia 800 And Lumia 710 - First Nokia's Windows Phone

Nokia's Windows Phones are expected to be among the first Windows Phones to ship with the Mango operating system already on board. This is very similar to the MeeGo based Nokia N9. Nokia 800 aka SeaRay in black and magenta colors, official marketing materials of Nokia showing Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 has been leaked to Internet. Win rumors posted the images of it which revealed that Nokia Lumia 710(Sabre) will have 512 MB RAM and 8GB memory and Lumia 800 has same attributes as Nokia N9.

The Lumia 800 is available in cyan, black and magenta, Chief Executive Officer Stephen Elop said at the Nokia World event in London today. Espoo, Finland-based Nokia also introduced the Asha family of lower-priced handsets.

Windows Phone may be Nokia’s last chance to claw back share in the smartphone market after the company lost more than 63 billion euros ($88 billion) in market value since Apple introduced the iPhone in 2007. Elop teamed up with Microsoft to speed time to market, while U.S. software maker needed a major handset player to give credibility to its latest push into mobile software.

Lumia 800 is priced at €420, or about $585. It's already up for pre-order now, and is scheduled to roll out across France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, beginning in November. As for the camera, it's got an f2.2 aperture, and is designed specifically for low-light environments. It seems pretty similar to what you'll find in the N9, and according to Nokia, it's simply a camera that works for "ordinary people, under ordinary circumstances."

Google to Buy Yahoo!

Google is thinking on buying its life long competitor Yahoo. According to the report, it stated contacting some venture capital firms to help in analyzing the entire business of yahoo and its market value. Even though the search giant started internally , it didnt have the official proposal with yahoo . Still the news is not yet confirmed. Even though the deal with Microsoft didnt go fine two years back , still there is a chance for Microsoft for the same. During that time, the value of Yahoo is said to be 46.5 Billion , but right now its less that 20 Billion . Last year Yahoo signed a 10-year search partnership with Microsoft Corp on its ads marketing. As per the business Yahoo hasn't been able to increase revenue even as the Internet ad market grows by more than 20% annually.
Yahoo! has been the the massive interest from other internet companies since the sacking last month of chief executive Carol Bartz, less than three years after she was brought in to help turn around the struggling Internet firm.
The chairman of Chinese company Alibaba on Thursday said he expected an answer from Yahoo! within weeks to his long-standing offer to buy all or part of the US company, saying delays were hurting both firms.Several other companies are also rumored to be eyeing Yahoo!, including Microsoft and US. Let me think some thing else, why cant social networking giant Facebook give a try for that?

Lytro's ultrasuper focus free camera revealed

Those who what to take picture as and when they desired and then focus later, here is a good news. You can get the same featured camera at early 2012. This innovative camera is developed by a Silicon Valley startup Lytro. They revealed the details and you can pre-order that for $399. In the photographic world , this is really a revolutionary innovation , the Lytro has done there best to have the product as user friendly as possible. It has just two button, one for zoom slider and  other to share to Facebook. As far as we go thru , it feels like this is not that used for professional photographers , who need high precision photographs. Lot of question arise on , print quality , battery life, pixel etc.
The Lytro Light Field Camera starts with an 8X optical zoom, f/2 aperture lens. The aperture is constant across the zoom range allowing for unheard of light capture.
Light Field Engine 1.0The Light Field Engine replaces the supercomputer from the lab and processes the light ray data captured by the sensor. The Light Field Engine travels with every living picture as it is shared, letting you refocus pictures right on the camera, on your desktop and online.

Defining the Light Field.
The light field is a core concept in imaging science, representing fundamentally more powerful data than in regular photographs. The light field fully defines how a scene appears. It is the amount of light traveling in every direction through every point in space. Conventional cameras cannot record the light field.
Capturing the Light Field
Recording light fields requires an innovative, entirely new kind of sensor called a light field sensor. The light field sensor captures the color, intensity and vector direction of the rays of light. This directional information is completely lost with traditional camera sensors, which simply add up all the light rays and record them as a single amount of light.
Processing the Light Field
How do light field cameras make use of the additional information? By substituting powerful software for many of the internal parts of regular cameras, light field processing introduces new capabilities that were never before possible. Sophisticated algorithms use the full light field to unleash new ways to make and view pictures. Relying on software rather than components can improve performance, from increased speed of picture taking to the potential for capturing better pictures in low light. It also creates new opportunities to innovate on camera lenses, controls and design.
About Living Pictures
The way we communicate visually is evolving rapidly, and people's expectations are changing in lockstep. Light field cameras offer astonishing capabilities. They allow both the picture taker and the viewer to focus pictures after they're snapped, shift their perspective of the scene, and even switch seamlessly between 2D and 3D views. With these amazing capabilities, pictures become immersive, interactive visual stories that were never before possible – they become living pictures.
Capture everything - instantly.
Capture living pictures with the press of a single button. By instantly capturing complete light field data, the Lytro gives you capabilities you've never had in a regular camera.
Focus after the fact.
Since you'll capture the color, intensity, and direction of all the light, you can experience the first major light field capability - focusing after the fact. Focus and re-focus, anywhere in the picture. You can refocus your pictures at anytime, after the fact. And focusing after the fact, means no auto-focus motor. No auto-focus motor means no shutter delay. So, capture the moment you meant to capture not the one a shutter-delayed camera captured for you.

Android Ice Cream Sandwich features

Ice Cream Sandwich Offers Improved Gmail & Calendar User Experience .Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Comes With New Action Bar & More Intuitive Swipe, Pinch & Stretch Functionality in Gmail & Calendar .

Email and personal-information management are major smartphone features, so Google has introduced major improvements in how users can manipulate information and displays in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

At the recently-concluded Galaxy Nexus announcement in Hong Kong, Google’s user-experience director for Android Matias Duarte explained the interface improvements that come with Google’s newest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich release. Among these are a new contextual action bar, swiping and pinching actions, which should now work more intuitively especially in the Gmail and Calendar apps.

Duarte explains how the new Action Bar should change content depending on context. As such, it will act much like a contextual menu that changes depending on the relevant actions required in any given application or screen. This probably takes advantage of the new Galaxy Nexus’ taller screen form factor, and the fact that Android 4.0 ICS designed from ground-up with a 1280 x 780 pixel resolution in mind
Key features of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
1) Android 4.0 has an inline spellchecker and makes cut/copy/paste easier to use
2) "Face unlock" -- Yes, your phone knows your face. It recognizes your face in order to unlock the phone
3) This phone's secure log in is better than swiping your finger -- it scans your face
4)The Android browser is getting some new feature....tabbed browsing is first. You can have up to 16 tabs
5) You can easily switch between mobile view and desktop view with one tap
6) You can save full web pages for offline viewing
7) Gmail is getting an update with Android. New action bar that lets you access common commands quickly, two-line email previews
8) Google+ widget is part of Ice Cream Sandwich
9)Android apps are updated. Google+, Music, Maps
10)Detailed updates on you data usage
11)The camera enables instant sharing. You just tap a photo and share through all apps that hook to Androids open sharing APIs
12) Quick response is an easy response for turning down your friends' calls that have bad timing
13) Android Beam - a new approach to sharing (directly transfer information)
Galaxy Nexus will ship worldwide in November

Yahoo! on Sale ?

Microsoft’s Steve Balmer, should “Thanks”, for its failure on Yahoo! deal on 2008. If it happened, that will be the one of the major acquisition in the Technology world. The offer was for $46.6 Billion on February. Yahoo’s CEO Jerry Yang, some how try to kill the deal and he won for not selling Yahoo on May . Now when its quarter earning results released we realize that Yahoo is just $19.5 billion, and its less than 50% of what Microsoft offered. Forgetting on the acquisition of yahoo, Microsoft and Yahoo finalized a search partnership in 2009 .
Yahoo's profit and revenue slipped year-on-year during the third quarter, as the company saw weakness in sales of its so-called non-premium online display ads, as well as in its search advertising business. Yahoo, fired former CEO Carol Bartz in early September before the end of the third quarter, gained around 3 per cent to $15.98 in after hours trading on Tuesday. Recently Yahoo is struggling to get the online ads as as Web surfers and advertisers moved to social networking giant Facebook and Internet search king Google Inc.
Now , some questions will come
Will yahoo again on SALE? for 50%
Who is going to Buy ? Google,Facebook,Microsoft
Or whether yahoo has any other plan? Yahoo+

Google unveils the brand new programming language 'Dart'

Dart is a new class-based programming language for creating structured web applications. Developed with the goals of simplicity, efficiency, and scalability, the Dart language combines powerful new language features with familiar language constructs into a clear, readable syntax.

Key features
Key features of the Dart language include:
Classes and interfaces provide a well understood mechanism for efficiently defining APIs. These constructs enable encapsulation and reuse of methods and data.
Optional types
Dart programmers can optionally add static types to their code. Depending on programmer preference and stage of application development, the code can migrate from a simple, untyped experimental prototype to a complex, modular application with typing. Because types state programmer intent, less documentation is required to explain what is happening in the code, and type-checking tools can be used for debugging.
Developers can create and use libraries that are guaranteed not to change during runtime. Independently developed pieces of code can therefore rely on shared libraries.
Dart will include a rich set of execution environments, libraries, and development tools built to support the language. These tools will enable productive and dynamic development, including edit-and-continue debugging and beyond up to a style where you program an application outline, run it, and fill in the blanks as you run.
Design goals
The Dart programming language is presented here in its early stages. The following design goals will guide the continued evolution and refinement of this open source project:
Create a structured yet flexible programming language for the web.
Make Dart feel familiar and natural to programmers and thus easy to learn.
Ensure that all Dart language constructs allow high performance and fast application startup.
Make Dart appropriate for the full range of devices on the web including phones, tablets, laptops, and servers.

Provide tools that make Dart run fast across all major modern browsers.
These design goals address the following problems currently facing web developers:
Small scripts often evolve into large web applications with no apparent structure they are hard to debug and difficult to maintain. In addition, these monolithic apps can t be split up so that different teams can work on them independently. It s difficult to be productive when a web application gets large.

Scripting languages are popular because their lightweight nature makes it easy to write code quickly. Generally, the contracts with other parts of an application are conveyed in comments rather than in the language structure itself. As a result, it s difficult for someone other than the author to read and maintain a particular piece of code.
With existing languages, the developer is forced to make a choice between static and dynamic languages. Traditional static languages require heavyweight toolchains and a coding style that can feel inflexible and overly constrained.
Developers have not been able to create homogeneous systems that encompass both client and server, except for a few cases such as Node.js and Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
Different languages and formats entail context switches that are cumbersome and add complexity to the coding process.

Optional types
Dart provides, at the programmers option, a mixture of static and dynamic checking. When experimenting, the programmer can write untyped code for simple prototyping. As the application becomes larger and more stable, types can be added to aid debugging and impose structure where desired.

You will be able to run Dart code in several ways:
Translate Dart code to JavaScript that can run in any modern browser:
Chrome, Safari 5+, and Firefox 4+ (more browser support coming shortly).
Execute Dart code directly in a VM on the server side
Use Dartboard to write, modify, and execute small Dart programs within any browser window
The Dart language is dynamically typed. You can write programs that have no type annotations whatsoever, and run them, much as you would in JavaScript.

You may choose to add type annotations to your program:
Adding types will not prevent your program from compiling and running even if your annotations are incomplete or plain wrong.
Your program will have exactly the same semantics no matter what type annotations you add.
You can nevertheless profit from adding type annotations to your code. Types provide the following benefits:
Documentation for humans. It is much easier for people to read your code if it has judiciously placed type annotations.
Documentation for machines. Tools can leverage type annotations in various ways. In particular, they can help provide nice features such as name completion and improved navigation in IDEs.
Early error detection. Dart provides a static checker that can warn you about potential problems, without getting in your way. In addition, in developer mode, Dart automatically converts type annotations to runtime assertion checks as a debugging aid.
Sometimes, types can help improve performance when compiling to JavaScript. Well say more about this later.
The static checker acts a lot like lint in C. It warns you about potential problems at compile-time. Many of these warnings are related to types. The static checker does not produce errorsyou can always compile and run your code, no matter what the checker says.
The checker does not scream about every possible type violation. It is not a typechecker, because Dart doesnt use types the way a classic type system does. The checker complains about things that are very likely to be real problems, rather than forcing you to jump through hoops to satisfy a narrow-minded type system.
Dart supports reified generics. That is, objects of generic type carry their type arguments with them at run time. Passing type arguments to a constructor of a generic type is a runtime operation. How does this square with the claim that types are optional?
Well, if you dont want to ever think about types, generics wont force you to. You can create instances of generic classes without providing type parameters.
Dart programs can be run in checked mode during development. If you run a program in checked mode, the system will automatically execute certain type checks when passing in parameters, when returning results, and when executing assignments. If the checks fail, execution will stop at that point with a clear error message.
How you use types is up to you. If you hate types, you need not use them at all. You wont get any type warnings, and you can develop in the style you feel comfortable with in other dynamic languages. You can still benefit from types, because the Dart libraries have type signatures that tell you what they expect and what they return. If you run in checked mode, and pass bad arguments to the library, checked mode will detect that at the point where you made the mistake.
If you love types, you may use them everywhere, much like in a statically typed language. However, even then you wont get the same level of static checking. Darts rules are much less rigid. We anticipate providing additional tools that might interpret type annotations more strictly for those who like that sort of thing.
We dont recommend either of these extremes. Use types where they make sense. The most valuable thing you can do is add types to the headers of public members of your libraries. Next, do the same for the private ones. Even if nobody else has to maintain the code, you will find it helpful if you leave the code and come back in a few weeks or months. In both cases, you dont necessarily have to add types to the bodies of methods or functions. Users of the library get value from type signatures, even if they are not 100% accurate.
Within the bodies of functions, it may not always pay to annotate declarations. Sometimes the code is simple enough that it doesnt really matter, and types might just create clutter.
Usually, you should design your code without letting type considerations influence your design. In some cases, there are alternate designs, one of which plays better with types than another. For example, rather than passing around strings denoting function names to be invoked, if you can pass a function instead, your code will be both more efficient and easier to typecheck. Dart discourages gratuitous use of reflection by other means as well. However, you should not hesitate to use reflection when it truly makes sense.

Oracle in to cloud

Now Oracle, Fusion appication and others have the capability of running in cloud service. This is in cuch a way as platform as a service and applications as a service. This has the interoperability with other cloud environment. Oracle Public Cloud uses Java, SQL, XML and other standards.Oracle CEO Larry Ellison mentiond some thing different about heroku, another cloud service , you can get in to the cloud, but when you enter in to it , thats the world, you cant get out of that . The advantage what Ellison mentions is that, it not like the heroku, which needs its own version of Java that only runs in Heroku.

But as far as Oracle cloud is concerned, you can take any existing Oracle database you have and move it to our cloud. You can just move it across and it runs unchanged. Oh by the way, you can move it back if you want to. You can move it to the Amazon cloud if you want to. You can do development and test on our cloud and go into production in your data center ... and nothing changes.Oracle Public Cloud will be available through subscription pricing. Like any other cloud service, the new Oracle cloud is designed to enable IT shops to get as much capacity as they need on demand. There’s also a 30-day trial period for all services

The Oracle Public Cloud is made up of five parts:
Oracle’s Fusion Applications
Oracle Fusion Middleware
Oracle Database
Sun Systems, OS, VM
Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c

Oracle recommended at least two operating systems
Oracle Linux - Designed for clustered environments with a low cost of deployment.
Oracle Solaris 11- The only OS out there today” capable of handling hundreds of terabytes of memory and huge amounts of I/O with 10 times faster provisioning

The cloud is made up of two stacks:
Fusion CRM, HCM and Talent, along with the social network
Database, Hava, data and security services

The Oracle Public Cloud offers self-service, subscription-based access to Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Database as a service, including:

Oracle Fusion CRM Cloud Service: designed to be effective, efficient and easy to use, Oracle Fusion Customer Relationship Management (CRM) delivers integrated sales and marketing with sales performance management that enables companies to generate more quality sales opportunities, increase their win rate and gain faster time to value.

Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Service: built from the ground up to help customers do things their way, know their people better and work as a team, Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) rethinks the business of HR to provide value to every person in an organization – from HR professionals to employees and managers.

Oracle Social Network: an enterprise collaboration and social networking solution with a broad range of social tools designed to capture and share information amongst teams in the context of business processes and enterprise applications (such as CRM and HCM). Oracle Social Network enables natural conversations and jump-starts productivity with purposeful social networking without the noise of unrelated or random social conversations.

Oracle Database Cloud Service: enterprise database service based on the industry’s #1 database, Oracle Database, providing access to database schemas, application development tools, data loading services, Web Services APIs, and a set of packaged business productivity applications.

Oracle Java Cloud Service: enterprise platform for developing, deploying and managing business-critical Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) applications based on Oracle WebLogic Server, the industry’s #1 application server. Supports development and deployment from multiple Java IDEs, including Oracle JDeveloper, NetBeans and Eclipse.

All Oracle Public Cloud services have a unified self-service user interface for provisioning, monitoring and managing all services.

During his keynote presentation today, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison announced the Oracle Public Cloud, a broad set of best-in-class, integrated services that provide customers with subscription-based, self-service access to Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Database, all completely managed, hosted and supported by Oracle.

The Oracle Public Cloud includes Oracle Fusion Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Cloud Service, Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud Service, Oracle Social Network, Oracle Java Cloud Service and Oracle Database Cloud Service.

The Oracle Public Cloud runs on Oracle Engineered Systems, providing customers and partners with a high-performance, reliable, elastic, and secure infrastructure for their critical business applications.

The Oracle Public Cloud is the only public cloud that offers customers a complete range of business applications and technology solutions, avoiding the problems of data and business process fragmentation when customers use multiple siloed public clouds.

The Oracle Public Cloud is the only public cloud offering that provides customers with truly flexible deployment by enabling them to run the exact same business applications in the cloud and on-premise.

Customers can also take existing standard Java and Oracle Database applications and deploy them to the Oracle Public Cloud without rewriting them, allowing them to take advantage of their existing IT assets, skills and ecosystems.

Pricing for the Oracle Public Cloud will be based on a monthly subscription model, and each service can be purchased independently of other services.

The Oracle Public Cloud provides many common services, including resource management and isolation, security, data exchange and integration, virus scanning, white list management, and centralized self-service monitoring.

Customers who are interested in Oracle’s Public Cloud, want to learn about its services, or register to use these services can do so at

Make your data safe with cloud and work with cloud

Are you still sending all your important data or most memorable photos to your email for a back up or are you uploading all your photos to Google's Picasa or Yahoo's Flickr or any other servic or are you taking back up all data in CD or DVD or in Blue ray or keeping a separate hard drive for it. If you are doing all the above, why cant you try to save your all in Cloud storage.
There are ample of service that offer you free cloud storage up to 25 GB.Lets have a look on some of the most commonly used. Its the Microsoft's Skydive( Yes, Skydrive is the one of many which give 25GB of free cloud storage. What is the advantage of having my files in Skydiver vs my email storage. If you are thinking both as storage , then No there is no difference. Think some thing like , if you want the share some of your documents or Photo. What you will do , Just send then the email which you have , or you will attach and send it. No think , some thing like this, you are sending email of 100 MB of your Photos , Now it will be in your send email(You can delete that , still ... ) , you are sending to your 20 Friends, so in total, 100 MB data becomes 2000 MB(2GB).Now you have stored all in cloud, and then sharing that to your 20 Friends thru a link , so the result is, this 100 MB remains 100MB it self , your friends email is not full. Hope this is a good example that you can think of the advantage of clould storage.

Now lets have another advantage of Cloud.
Are you working for a organization,or you have a personal business. So surely you have a shared drive in your server , where you keep your day today activity data. Going to office morning and working till after noon , you are thinking of working from home rest of the day. After reaching home , you will download the file that you worked till after noon and start the remaining from home, and after that keep the file back to the server. You may need a secured connection of VPN token to access your office network.

Now think of an application that is in cloud which can be login to internet. As the data is already in cloud there is no separate service to access for it. You can work from any where you will as long as you are connected to internet. In that case the advantage of cloud is not a small one , Even you can work during commuting to office. So more productivity. You can try this with Google docs. ( ) . Its also a free service. There are more application coming to cloud, even CRM package are in cloud , A good one which I saw for CRM and docs is Zoho ( ). Even there are photo editing tools with cloud  Pixlr ( So no need to install the software in your computer and you can use any where, the only thing you need is a web browser.
You can try some of the free service of cloud concept
Now what you think of Cloud. Its the future!

Steve Jobs: Goodbye to an Icon

Steve Jobs, Apple Incs co-founder and former CEO who died on Wednesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, created a series of seminal electronics products, reinvented several industries, and built Apple into a $350 billion juggernaut. Widely hailed as one of the greatest CEOs

in history, Jobs handed the reins over to longtime operations chief Tim Cook in August, and many analysts believe the company is well-positioned for the future. But his death still leaves many questions.

Can Apple succeed without Jobs?

Jobs was famous -- some say notorious -- for keeping an iron grip on every step of the product development process, from conception to execution. The Macintosh, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad all shine with his distinct design sensibility.

Still, investors and consumers alike had grown accustomed in the past year to the idea of Apple without its visionary leader. Since January 2011, when Jobs went on his third medical and Cook again took over, most observers expected that Jobs would not return to full-time, active duty. Yet investors and customers remained confident in the company.

Apple has plenty of new products in the pipeline, and there should be few bumps in the short term. But its not clear if Jobs brilliance -- both as a product visionary and a super-salesman -- was ultimately transferable. The lukewarm reaction to Cooks first big product introduction on Tuesday could be seen as a warning sign.

What will happen to Apples share price?

Jobs health had been an issue with investors for years (he was diagnosed in 2004), but that has not stopped Apple shares from marching higher. The stock moved little when Jobs announced in August that he was stepping down as CEO, and it moved little in after-hours trading after the announcement of his death on Wednesday.

The biggest factors affecting the stock currently are the reliability of its iPhone and iPad product pipeline, and how well the company wards off smartphone challenger Google Inc and burgeoning rival Inc.

What is Jobs legacy?

Jobs is counted among the greatest CEOs in history, mentioned in the same breath as Henry Ford and other historical giants of corporate America. One of his most unique achievements was vaulting Apple to world leadership not just once, but twice.

After co-founding the company with Steve Wozniak in 1976 and giving the world the Apple II and the Macintosh, he was famously pushed out in a clash with his hand-picked CEO, John Sculley. When Jobs returned in 1997 the floundering companys survival was in doubt, but he proceeded to radically transform an ageing computer-maker and take it in a new, and wildly successful, direction. There are few examples in any field of such a brilliant second act.

Along the way, Jobs in 1986 also bought Pixar, which was then little more than an experiment in digital animation technology. The company ultimately became a juggernaut of its own, and when it was acquired by Disney in 2006, Jobs became the largest shareholder of the entertainment giant. Again, there are few examples of a CEO turning a side project into a world-class innovator and business success story.

Jobs few critics say the Macintosh was mostly borrowed technology, and beyond that all Apple gave the world was a sleek cellphone and an improved music-player. But many people -- in the tech world and beyond -- believe his impact on society and culture was monumental. He prompted millions to embrace digital technology, online media and mobile communications in ways they never did before.

iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s ? Tim Cook’s first challenge

Tomorrow is the day for Apple fans to decide what is the difference in management between Tim Cook and Steve Jobs. Till now no details what the new release. Is it an iPhone 5 or is that called and iPhone 4S, or nothing related to harware, a software release or some thing else. If its a success then , its good enough for Tim else, start comparing with Steve Jobs.
So far as the prediction goes, some of the key things are
a) Apple A5 chip
b) 1 GB of RAM
c) Voice recognition layer - Assistant
d) powerful 8 MP camera – A revamped Camera application
Main key questions
Does it have a larger screen or compact screen?
Any change in Hardware design
The crowd will expect more as its more than an year ( approx 15 months ) since the last iPhone event happed ( Release of iPhone 4) . Even though iPhone hit the market, its still iPhone 3GS, the second largest in market .
If there no release of an Iphone newer version ,then it will be a great disappointment to the apple fans across the world. Lets hope for the best.
